Senior Backend Developer
BRsys project's Main Delivery 3 (HL3)

Project Overview

Brønnøysundregistrene seeks to engage a team of three backend developers for their BRsys project's Main Delivery 3 (HL3), focusing on developing a new common registry platform.

Position Overview: Backend Development Team (3 positions)

Location: Flexible within Norway (Oslo office or remote), with required trips to Brønnøysund

Project Purpose:

• Development of Main Delivery 3 (HL3) in BRsys project

• New common registry platform development

• Working in an agile development methodology with monthly iterations

​

Team Composition (3 roles):

1. Backend Developer - Migration/Conversion Specialist

2. Backend Developer - Transition Architecture Specialist

3. Senior Backend Developer - API/Architecture/Migration Specialist

​

Key Technical Requirements:

• Strong expertise in data structure analysis

• Experience with system integration between legacy and modern systems

• API development skills

• Migration and conversion expertise

• Documentation and mentoring capabilities

​

Essential Qualifications:

• Fluent Norwegian (written and spoken)

• Must be eligible for BEGRENSET security clearance

• Experience working in cross-functional teams

• Strong communication skills

​

Work Environment:

• Full-time position (100%)

• Agile development methodology

• Cross-functional team setting

• Flexible work location within Norway

• 4-8 trips to Brønnøysund (3-4 days each) during contract period

​

Contract Details:

• Start date: Between April 14 - May 1, 2025

• Initial duration: Until December 31, 2025

• Extension options: 6-month increments up to 36 months

• Maximum total duration: 44 months

• Required: All three consultants must be from the same supplier
